1972 Honda XL250 Road Racer

My personal bike, race ready for WERA Vintage 1, CCS "old-timers", and a number of AHRMA classes.

XL250 frame, modified for road racing, braced around rear down-tube, all extraneous appendages removed, powder-coated

rear sets and clip-ons

8" Honda twin-leading-shoe front brake with recent linings

MT250 tank

GB500 seat

custom exhaust with Supertrapp end

Megacycle piston, cam, and slotted cam sprocket

Scitsu inductive tach

Marzocchi rear shocks

Dyna (Honda Gold Wing model), total-loss ignition, powered by a pair of radio control (RC) style batteries, with charger included,

Safety wired and ready to race.

Or, use the engine for a "killer" flat tracker project, part-out the rest (the tach and seat alone are worth $500 on the open market.)

Or, with a set of flat track bars, and a 19" front wheel, you might could use it, as is, for a flat track or TT bike.
