Marty Moate's Cheney XL450 |

13 January 2000 I restored this bike some time back. This is was Marty Moate's Cheney based frame built by Alan Greenwood, owner and founder of the Knobby Shop. The frames were made by Cheney in England and were twin mono design with Fox Air shocks, Simons forks, aluminum tank and side panels, 450 motor, bored and stroked with special porting and internal button magneto ignition. Very Fast! Marty rode the bike at the Carlsbad Four-stroke nationals in the late 70's. Scott Steger fmfracer@swbell.net |
