The four stroke, twin shock, drum brake vintage class in Europe is very popular. The World Twinshock Championship, held June 24/25, 2000 at Hawkstone saw approximately thirty (30) entries. The bikes are almost all custom units, XL, XR, BSA, CCM, TT500, a variety of engines, installed in a variety of chassis, stock, Maico, owner designed and fabricated, Cheney, etc. The last three photos are of a "super sano" Thumper, a Curtis framed, Honda engined bike, owned by Bob Collier. click on thumbnail for a larger print.
